Can I get a Medicare rebate?

Yes! If you have a referral under an Eating Disorder Management Plan (EDMP) or Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on your sessions. Rebates are processed after your appointment and payment.

Do I need a referral to book an appointment?

No referral is needed to book an appointment. If you have a chronic health condition or that can be supported with nutrition experience disordered eating, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates for session - in which case you will require a referral from your GP. It is best to schedule an appointment with your GP to discuss - more information on eligibility can also be found on the Medicare website.

Do you accept private health insurance?

Many private health funds offer rebates for dietitian services. Check with your provider to see if you’re covered under extras for nutrition or dietetics.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a 50% fee of the appointment cost.

Missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged 100% of the appointment fee.

This policy helps ensure appointment availability for others who need support. If you’re unwell or have an emergency, please reach out as soon as possible to discuss options.
